Stock List Screener
Paste or load any table of stocks, such as a watchlist from a spreadsheet, a broker export or a web page, then filter it by any column, sort it and download the matches. It runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
The first row must be the column names. Paste cells copied from a spreadsheet or website, or load a CSV file.
How it reads your data
- Numbers
- A column is treated as numeric when at least 60% of its non-blank cells are numbers. Commas (including Indian grouping such as 1,23,456), a leading ₹ or $, a trailing % and brackets for negatives are all understood. Words like NA and a lone dash count as blank. Units such as Cr or L are not converted, so keep one unit per column.
- Filters
- Number columns can be filtered with greater than, less than, equal to, not equal to and between. Text columns can be filtered with contains, does not contain, equals and starts with, ignoring capitals. With "all filters" a row must pass every filter, and with "any filter" it needs to pass just one.
- Sorting
- Click a column heading to sort by it, and click again to reverse. Blank values always sort last. Text sorts alphabetically, ignoring capitals.
Common questions
What kind of data can I use?
Any table with the column names in the first row: a CSV or text file, or cells copied from a spreadsheet, a broker's holdings page or a website. Tab, comma, semicolon and pipe separators are detected automatically.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser reads and filters the table, and nothing is sent to any server, so you can use your own watchlist or portfolio.
How are numbers and blanks read?
Commas (including Indian grouping such as 1,23,456), a leading ₹ or $, a trailing % and brackets for negatives are understood. Entries like NA and a lone dash count as blank. A column is treated as numeric when at least 60% of its non-blank cells are numbers, and units such as Cr or L are not converted, so keep one unit per column.
What does 'all filters' versus 'any filter' mean?
With all filters, a row must pass every filter you have filled in. With any filter, a row only needs to pass one. Filters with an empty value are ignored.
How many rows can it handle?
Thousands of rows are fine. To stay quick, the page shows the first 200 matching rows, but the downloaded CSV contains every match in the order you have sorted them.
Where can I get a table of stocks to filter?
Any source works: a spreadsheet you keep, a watchlist or holdings export from your broker, or a table copied from a website that shows company data. This tool does not provide market data itself, so the results are only as good as the data you bring.
Is a stock that passes the filters a good buy?
No. Passing a filter only means the numbers you supplied meet your conditions. It says nothing about the quality of the business, the price you would pay or the risk, so treat the result as a shortlist to research further.
