Privacy Policy

The short version

Tradomaniac has no accounts, no sign-up, and no server-side database. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser, and whatever you type into one stays on your device. The only data collected is standard website analytics (Google Analytics), described below, plus advertising cookies once this site is approved for Google AdSense.

What's collected and why

Your calculator entries

Never sent to us. Trade prices, quantities, exchange imports, everything you type into a calculator is processed by JavaScript running in your own browser. If a calculator saves your entries so they survive a page refresh, that's written only to your browser's local storage on your own device. There is no backend for it to travel to.

Website analytics (Google Analytics)

This site uses Google Analytics to understand traffic: which pages get visited, roughly which country and device you're on, and how you arrived here. This is aggregate usage data, not anything you enter into a calculator. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google itself handles this data.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. You can block or delete these through your browser's own cookie settings at any time; the site works identically either way, since no feature depends on analytics running.

Advertising (once approved for AdSense)

No ads run on this site today. If and when it's approved for Google AdSense, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits here and to other sites. You can opt out of personalized ads through Google Ads Settings or industry-wide at aboutads.info. This section will be expanded with specifics once ads actually go live.

Your rights

Access, correction and erasure

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask what data is held about you and request it be corrected or deleted. In practice, this site holds nothing beyond aggregate Google Analytics data tied to your browser, not your identity, so the most direct control is your own Google Account privacy settings. For anything specific to this site, contact us below.

Grievance redressal

If you have a concern about how this site handles data, email the address below. This is an independently run set of calculators, not a company with a dedicated privacy office, so treat this as a direct, best-effort line rather than a formal support desk.

Children

This site isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect data from anyone underage.

Changes to this policy

If what's collected or how it's used changes meaningfully, most likely when ads go live, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised. Check back if you're unsure.
